Birds in our back yard

Panoramic Photo - Backyard in Winter

Summer or winter, our back yard is alive with birds - pesky Grackles and self-righteous Mourning Doves, delightful Chickadees, Sparrows and Gold Finches and a pair of majestic Cardinals who normally stay all winter, as well as Robins and Hummingbirds and a few exotic birds that don't seem to belong and/or visit infrequently.

We also have a bunch of squawking crows from time to time.

Here are some photos of our songbirds:

Cardinal (female) Purple Finch (female) Woodpecker - Downy
Cardinal (male) Purple Finch (male) Woodpecker - Hairy
Cedar Waxwing Redpoll Woodpecker - Pileated
Chickadee Red-breasted Nuthatch Yellow Warbler (female)
Chipping Sparrow Rose-breasted Grosbeak Yellow Warbler (male)
Gold Finch Song Sparrow
Pine Siskin White-breasted Nuthatch

And then we have other forms of wildlife (click on each photo for a larger image):
